The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ING Groep N.V. adopted the 2016 Annual Accounts today and declared a total dividend for 2016 of EUR 0.66 per ordinary share. Taking into account the interim cash dividend of EUR 0.24 paid in August 2016, the final dividend amounts to EUR 0.42 per share, to be paid fully in cash.
ING intends to participate in the private placement by Bank of Beijing which today filed its intention to issue approximately 2.4 billion ordinary shares to raise up to approximately RMB 24 billion (approximately EUR 3.2 billion at current exchange rates) with the Chinese Securities and Regulatory Commission.

ING today announced the sale of 46.7 million ordinary shares of Kotak Mahindra Bank (Kotak). The shares were sold at a price of INR 782.32 per share. Gross proceeds to ING from the offering amount to approximately EUR 490 million (at the current exchange rate). The sale reduces ING’s stake in Kotak from currently 6.4% to 3.9%. ING’s remaining stake in Kotak will be subject to a 90 day lock-up following settlement of the transaction which is expected to occur on 4 October 2016.
ING announced today that the conversion of ING Groep N.V. depositary receipts for shares into ING Groep N.V. ordinary shares will take place on 26 July 2016.
