As announced on 25 April 2017, ING has participated in the private placement by Bank of Beijing (BoB) which has closed today. BoB has issued 2.9 billion ordinary shares with a value of approximately RMB 21.7 billion (approximately EUR 2.8 billion at current exchange rates).

ING Group has been notified of the European Central Bank (ECB) decision on the 2017 Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process (SREP), which will set the capital requirements for 2018. The common equity Tier 1 requirement for ING Group will be 10.4% in 2018.
