Friends of the Earth Netherlands (Milieudefensie) announced today that they hold ING liable for alleged contribution to climate change and threaten to initiate legal proceedings against ING.
ING announced today it is taking the next steps in our energy approach, phasing out the financing of upstream oil and gas activities by 2040 and aiming to triple new financing for renewable energy by 2025.

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of ING Groep N.V. was held today in Amsterdam. The AGM adopted all agenda items, including the annual accounts for 2022, discharge of the members of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board and the dividend for 2022.
“Looking back, 2022 was an extraordinary year,” said ING CEO Steven van Rijswijk.
