The restaurant will be housed in a glass pavilion commissioned by OVG Real Estate and G&S Vastgoed, and designed by Powerhouse Company. It will open its doors in October 2019.

The Traveller is a concept created by Dutch restaurateurs Michiel Deenik, Neal Valentijn and Jeroen van Brussel, best-known for their Amsterdam restaurants Visaandeschelde and The Roast Room. They will be renting the premises from ING.

“It will take you on a journey through the different flavours and cultures of the world. As I love travelling, I’ve tried all the meals we’ll serve in their original countries. Now I want to bring that experience to your plate,” said co-owner Michiel.

Inspired by the area’s multicultural character, the Traveller’s colourful interior will be designed to feel like a lively souk, making it a perfect venue for socialising, business meetings and cultural events.

Situated near the entrance of ING’s new office, it will be at the heart of the campus, a place where employees, entrepreneurs, local residents, students and other visitors can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a take-away coffee.
