Lars Stoy to succeed Nick Jue as CEO of ING in Germany

ING announced today the appointment of Lars Stoy as the next CEO of ING in Germany in the beginning of 2025. He will succeed Nick Jue, who after 7 years in Germany has decided to leave ING to return to the Netherlands.

Lars is an experienced banker, most recently responsible for Deutsche Bank's retail business in Germany. He started his career at Commerzbank, was CEO of BHW Bausparkasse and a board member of Postbank. The appointment of Lars Stoy is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.

Nick Jue

Nick Jue

Nick has been with ING for over 30 years. After various functions at ING Group, he was appointed CEO of ING in the Netherlands in 2006. In this role he led the successful integration of Postbank with ING Bank. In 2017, he took over as CEO of ING in Germany with the aim of improving their digital and mobile offering.
