I Want You / 03 December 2009 – 13 March 2010

The current exhibition brings together in practical fashion pieces by around twenty artists that have recently joined the ING Belgium collection. We have placed the spotlight on the artists themselves; not their theoretical or intellectual approaches, but rather the work itself as a reality – intimate, emotional and personal. The work is a world unto itself, the artist’s world. In a certain respect, I want you represents an invitation – an invitation to a type of transgression, an elimination of the distance between the viewer and the work.
