ING is head sponsor of the exhibition Oceania, signs of rites, symbols of power. This unique exhibition travelling from Belgium to the Netherlands; presents the viewer with a selection of around 200 particular objects from the widespread Oceania.

The show tells the story of an exploratory expedition through Oceania and emphases on the diverse cultures and way of life on the various groups of island in the Pacific Ocean.
Oceania is the generic name used for a group of islands located in the South of the Pacific Ocean which was previously known as the South Sea area. For centuries, Oceanic artists created ritual objects en symbols of power which formed the identity for the many different nations who lived in this area.
