In accordance with the Annual Financial Statement Requirement of the New York Stock Exchange dated 21 August 2006, ING Groep today announces that the proxy voting material related to its Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be available on the ING website www.ing.com as of 20 March 2007.
ING will file its Annual Report and other proxy voting material with the Securities Exchange Committee today.
The proxy material will consist of:
- the agenda with explanatory notes and the announcements that are required by virtue of the law and the Articles of Association;
- the 2006 Annual Report, including the audited Annual Accounts and other information, the reports of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board;
- the proposal to amend the Articles of Association, including the verbatim text and explanation;
- the minutes of the AGM that was held on 25 April 2006.
ING Depositary Receipts Holders have the ability, upon request, to receive hard copies of the complete audited financial statements in the Annual Report free of charge.
